I'll be there with a booth this year. Anybody going to make it? I would love to meet anybody from the community so be sure to give the secret handshake.
Dang, we don't have a secret handshake?
Wow there are festivals over there, that is awesome, I wonder what there is in Aus, anyone?
We have local maker space, but no convention type things I am aware of.
I'm going to try and be there ones the days.
Sorry not driving 700 miles (one way) for 3D printer joy. It would be nice but I hope everyone has a great time. Get the word out about Wilson II! People need more of these so we can find profiles in slicer software and Marlin
I plan to, but haven't started building my Wilson II! Life got in the way I guess. I don't have any of the plastic parts made yet which has been a big bottleneck. The set I had started weren't printing to a high enough standard imo so I decided to work on upgrading my original printer. Wouldn't be a bad idea to print the parts during MRRF and maybe get a little building in! That is, of course, if I can get my Prusa i3 working before then...
Good luck on that, Yes seems like MRRF is the perfect place and time to build a Wilson II, though the amount of free advice and help may be overwhelming (Just on a guess,)
Have a great time
Even though there might be a surplus of advice I think @mjrice might be the most useful source of information . Can't beat the orginal designer. Also, if you think it's a hike for you, last year Jo Prusa showed up!
He's coming this year, too! Should be a good time.
I will be neat to hear Jo give a talk...I am planning on attending and bringing my cousin along too. It would be his first time and my 3rd. I met you last year. I loved your printer, so I bought a kit and then printed another. I will not be bringing a printer though. It has not been determined which day we will attend.
I feel the handshake should end in a fist bump "Big Hero 6" style. Ba la la la la. Since his armor was 3D printed. But that is just my opinion.
My twitter feed was full of MRRF this weekend. Looks like it was a lot of fun. Sorry I had to miss it for work. Maybe next year.
