Im not a fan. I had to setup a friends machine and he uses Cura so I grit my teeth and dove in. While I was googling for Zoffset work around I discovered LulzBot has their own version.
No surprises as I new that... but I didn't know in their version 2 things got me.
they have Zoffset in the Machine TAB... pretty cool.
when you start a print the head moves all 3 axis at a time. So unlike most systems I use when the Z descends first then it travels X and Y to the start point at which point my finger is on the off switch as it just misses the clamps each time.
Now this is cool and I can't see how anyone can hit a clamp unless it's inside the print area to start with.
