Here is my Scripts for Cura and S3D
M106 S255 ;Fan on 100%
G21 ; Metric
G28 ; Home all axes
G29 ; bed level
G1 Z25.0 ;move nozzle to Z 25mm
G1 X8 Y0 ; Move to New print origin
G92 X0 Y0 Z25.0 ; Set this coordinate to 0,0,25
G92 E0 ;zero the extruded length
G1 E10 F600 ; Prime extruder 10mm
G92 E0 ;zero the extruded length again
G4 S10 ; wait
In bold is what I do to move the X0 and Y0 to a safe starting point to give the edge of the build platform a safe no go zone on the right. In Cura when you start to print the nozzle decends from it height which makes missing any clamps a safer thing but in S3D it doesn’t.
This what I use to offset the bed for my 50mm wider Wilson to get the nozzle onto the bed.
Y may not be necessary unless that is where you have the clamps.
I also go up 25mm just so I can check the nozzle… on my LulzBot I go up 40mm because of the height of the bench it’s on.
M104 S0 ; turn off heat
M140 S0 ; turn off heat
G91 ; use relative coordinates
G1 Z1 F5000 ; lift nozzle
G90 ; use absolute coordinates
G1 X30 Y280 ; move Y axis out
M84 ; disable motors
M117 Print Finished ;display message (20 characters to clear whole screen)
Here I move the Nozzle X30 for my Wilson machines with rack and pinion Z and Y280 to move the bed out to make it easy to get to the print job.
